FARMER, OWNER
James Coto
James is a Bulloch County native graduating from Southeast Bulloch High School and later Southeastern Technical College where he obtained his Associate’s of Science in Nursing. He works in emergency medicine as a flight nurse, and when he is not working as a nurse, he serves as the main provider and farmer at Born & Grazed. Together with his extensive research in health medicine, pastured livestock, sustainability, and nutritional grazing methods, he is very intentional in his methods and well-equipped with the knowledge and experience that is crucial in sustaining a successful farm.
MARKETING MANAGER, OWNER
Ashlyn Coto
Ashlyn is the wife of James Coto and a middle school teacher at a local public school in Bulloch County. Like James, Ashlyn also graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School and later Georgia Southern University obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Middle Grades Education, Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction, and Educational Leadership Certification. Ashlyn oversees the marketing, labeling, bookkeeping, and inventory aspects of the farm. Additionally, Ashlyn tends livestock and manages the farm while James is away for his nursing duties.
